The team provides independent oversight of design intent, safety justifications, operating limits and engineering governance across a diverse portfolio of safety‐critical facilities.The work is varied and includes developing safety justifications, ensuring designs meet relevant standards and codes, supporting the continued suitability of safety systems, producing Examination, Inspection, Maintenance & Testing (EIMT) schedules, and contributing to major review programmes such as Periodic Review of Safety.As part of a multi‐disciplinary engineering team—including Mechanical, Building Services, Civil and Electrical Engineers—you will play a key role in authoring, assessing and maintaining engineering design substantiation to ensure that facilities remain safe, compliant and aligned with current good practice.**Essential Experience*** Mechanical or Building Services design experience.* Strong experience producing technical justifications for authorised design modifications.* Knowledge of legislation and standards relevant to the built environment and building services engineering.* Familiarity with recognised industry guidance such as CIBSE Guides and ASHRAE Standards.* Experience providing Mechanical/Building Services input into multi‐discipline engineering projects.**Qualifications**HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or similar plus demonstrable experience in the discipline.**Location**Glasgow City Centre and Home Working.**Security Requirements**SC Clearance*Due to the secure nature of this project, restrictions in relation to UK residency and nationality will apply.***Belong.
