Job Overview

Be part of the Stronger Families Countywide Service as a Social Work Support Officer. You will support a fast‑paced multi‑disciplinary team that includes social work management, youth workers and parent and family workers.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide essential administration support, including record‑keeping in the internal database system (Mosaic).
* Manage phone conversations with families in a compassionate and professional manner.
* Support children and young people who may be at the edge of care and help stabilise existing care plans.
* Identify opportunities for service improvement and develop the role based on the team’s support needs.
* Attend pre‑planned team meetings and professional development sessions; travel to meetings when required.


Qualifications & Skills

* Experienced administrator with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
* Highly organised, self‑motivated with excellent time‑management and deadline‑meeting abilities.
* Excellent listening, recording and typing skills; able to record information accurately onto Mosaic.
* Driving licence and access to a car advantageous for occasional travel.
* Adherence to a Disclosure and Barring Service check; commitment to safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.


Employment Details

Permanent, full‑time (37 hours per week) Hybrid– predominantly home‑working with occasional travel.

Salary: £26,824 – £29,540 per annum.
