About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects (ICP / HV / LV) from initial concept through to completion and handover.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in engineering, construction, or utilities who is ready to step into a project management role and develop under experienced leadership.
You will work closely with Senior Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation

Support the management of project budgets and cost tracking alongside the operations team
*
Help maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
*
Coordinate engineers, designers, contractors, and stakeholders
*
Monitor project risks and escalate issues when required
*
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
*
Support quality assurance processes and documentation control
*
Act as a point of contact for customers, providing clear and professional updates
*
Maintain accurate project documentation (contracts, reports, change controls, correspondence)
*
Provide occasional onsite support when required
*
Contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned
What We’re Looking For
Education
*
ONC/OND, HNC/HND or Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or related field
*
OR relevant industry experience within utilities / electrical infrastructure
*
Working towards or keen to achieve a Project Management qualification (Prince2, APM or similar)
Experience
*
Experience within electrical infrastructure, utilities, construction, or engineering environments
*
Understanding of HV/LV networks or strong desire to learn
*
Exposure to DNO/ICP processes (desirable but not essential)
*
Experience supporting project delivery from planning through to completion
*
Comfortable working with budgets, schedules, and reporting
Technical Skills
*
Knowledge of HV/LV infrastructure (desirable)
*
Understanding of NEC3 contracts (advantageous)
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
*
Familiar with project management software
