Project Coordinator – Fire Protection
Location: Essex
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (Permanent)
Our client is seeking a highly organised Project Coordinator to join their Essex-based Fire Protection team. This is a permanent opportunity offering stability, progression and strong training support. You will play a key role in coordinating works across installations, remedials, surveys and wider fire protection projects, ensuring excellent service delivery to clients and residents.
The Role
As a Project Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day administrative, operational and coordination support to the Admin Manager and Contract Manager. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, processing work orders, scheduling appointments and ensuring all project documentation is maintained accurately and in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle incoming calls and manage enquiries professionally from start to completion.
• Process work orders accurately and on time, following priority and contract requirements.
• Monitor, update and distribute jobs through the company database.
• Book and manage appointments via phone and email, ensuring all follow-up actions are completed.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and residents, providing regular progress updates.
• Collate completed paperwork and progress it through to invoicing.
• Maintain digital invoice records and ensure documentation reaches relevant departments.
• Reproduce and issue test certificates accurately.
• Maintain filing systems and support general administrative duties.
• Work in line with the company’s Quality Management System.
Salary, Benefits & Working Conditions
• £30,000 – £35,000 (PAYE).
• 23 days holiday + ability to earn an extra day per year (up to 25 days).
• Option to sell 3 holiday days or carry forward 3 days.
• Full pay for Christmas Eve / New Year’s Eve after midday (if on weekdays).
