About the Role
We are supporting the recruitment of a Social Media Executive for a fast-growing iGaming company preparing the launch of a new sports betting and casino brand. The role sits within the wider marketing team and focuses on building and managing the company's brand voice and presence across major social platforms.
As a Social Media Executive, you'll be responsible for creating, posting, and optimising content across platforms such as Twitter (X), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. You'll collaborate closely with the brand, trading, and product teams to drive real-time engagement around key sporting events and betting markets.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage and grow the company's presence across key platforms:
Twitter (X), Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others
- Produce timely, engaging content
around major sporting events and trending betting activity
- Work with internal teams to deliver social campaigns, promotions, contests, and branded content
- Translate odds, betting markets, and trading insights into compelling and compliant social posts
- Monitor and participate in conversations across sports betting communities
- Deliver real-time coverage for events like the Premier League, NFL, Cheltenham Festival, and Grand National
- Support social media content needs for both Sportsbook and Casino verticals
- Use analytics tools to track performance, gain insights, and optimise content strategy
- Ensure all posts meet internal and regulatory compliance requirements, especially related to responsible gambling
What We're Looking For
* At least 1 year of experience in a social media, digital content, or community management role
* A strong understanding of sports culture
, especially football and ideally horse racing
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Creative mindset with strong copywriting and visual content skills
- Experience with video editing, graphic design, and content scheduling tools is a plus
- Understanding of SEO, digital performance metrics, and social analytics tools
- Ability to convert data, trends, and odds into engaging short-form content
- Capable of working proactively and independently, especially during live sports events
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and responsible gambling messaging in regulated industries
