My client, a leading Market Research company, is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for:
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Processing purchase payments and receivables
* Reviewing VAT returns and ensuring submission within deadlines
* Assisting with the preparation of statutory reporting, investor reporting, and management accounts
* Ensuring the timely processing and payment of all invoices
* Monitoring cash balances and performing bank reconciliations
* Ensuring payments are processed, posted, and updated correctly
* Performing balance sheet and month-end reconciliations
* Monitoring balance sheet balances related to designated funds and ensuring proper cash flow
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in an accounting function, ideally with exposure to management accounts.
The successful candidate will be an ACCA or CIMA student. Ongoing study support will be provided, along with opportunities for growth and development alongside experienced Big 4 accountants.
