The Opportunity... We are looking for a Hotel Receptionist who is presentable with excellent customer service skills who cares for the guests and assists them in having an unforgettable stay.
About you...Our ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a similar position, have a fine eye for detail, be adaptable and a hands on team player with a warm and friendly personality with an ability to anticipate guest needs. You will need to be dedicated, hard working, polite and a customer focused individual who possesses excellent communication skills, good knowledge of hotel booking systems with strong spoken and written English skills
It is essential that you have a flexible approach to your daily duties, as these will include guest contact, telephone use, confirming bookings, taking payments ensuring all bills are settled and communicating with hotel departments to solve issues for our guests
Responsibilities...
As a receptionist you will have a wide range of responsibilities such as:
* Reception duties – greeting and welcoming guests, checking them in, checking out departures, taking payments, complaint handling, taking and managing bookings
* Operating the switchboard, epos tills, PDQ machine
* Use email, and Office programmes
* Observing and adhering to all Health and Safety requirements
The position is 32 hours a week 8 hour shifts from 07:30 - 15:30 and 14:30-22:30. Must be flexible in availability to work across any part of the week, weekends and bank holidays.
