Legal SecretaryLocation: Macclesfield / Hybrid (2 days in the office)Salary: Competitive + Excellent BenefitsContract: Permanent, Full-Time A leading law firm is seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to join their high-performing Private Client team in Macclesfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled legal secretary or PA to provide full support to Partners and Legal Advisors, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. About the Role In this fast-paced and varied position, you'll deliver a full range of PA and secretarial services, including:
* Full diary and email management
* Drafting correspondence and legal documents
* Document production and complex amendments
* Client file management, including opening/closing and compliance checks
* Organising travel and meetings for legal professionals
* Handling client communications and document dispatch, including DocuSign
* Financial admin support, such as expenses and cheque requisitions
* Supporting the wider team with cover during absences
This role requires a forward-thinking, highly organised individual with strong communication skills and a professional, team-focused attitude. What We’re Looking For
* Prior experience as a Legal PA or Secretary - only candidates with over 2 years experience will be considered
* Excellent document production skills, particularly in Word
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* A proactive and professional approach with strong organisational skills
* Strong IT skills – Outlook, Word, digital dictation (PowerPoint/Excel a plus)
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
