About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including air handling units and chiller systems, across commercial and industrial sites throughout the West Midlands, with occasional travel nationwide when required.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration, AHU, and chiller systems
* Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting across a wide range of systems
* Delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and industry standards
* Accurately completing service reports and documentation in a timely manner
* Maintaining a high standard of customer service while on-site
* Participating in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support
Equipment You’ll Work On
* Split and multi-split systems
* VRV / VRF systems
* Chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled)
* Air Handling Units (AHUs)
* Refrigeration plant and cold room systems
About You
* Proven experience as an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer
* Strong working knowledge of AHU and chiller systems
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent)
* Valid F-Gas certification (Category 1 preferred)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
