Overview
Solutions Architect (Remote) (UK/Ireland) at Wallarm: API Security Leader. This role is part of Customer Engineering and focuses on bridging technology and customer requirements across pre- and post-sales, working with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success. Wallarm unifies API Security and WAAP capabilities to protect APIs and web applications across multi-cloud and cloud-native environments. The company enables developers, Security Ops and DevSecOps teams to secure APIs through observability, protection, and analytics to manage risk and accelerate safe development. What You Will Do
Partner with account executives and sales engineers to identify and qualify opportunities, address technical objections, and resolve blockers. Own the technical relationship with customers, including briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordinating additional technical resources. Deliver demos and work hands-on to show Wallarm’s value in customer and partner environments. Manage end-to-end POVs and ensure success criteria are met. Recommend API security best practices, architectures, platforms, and infrastructure for a complete Wallarm-based solution. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback for satisfaction and innovation. Assist in creating technical documentation, implementation guides, and field enablement content. Contribute to RFPs, technical questionnaires, and security reviews. Train team members on technical aspects of Wallarm as needed. Moderate travel as required. What You Will Need
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, NGINX, and cloud vendors. Multiple years in a technical customer-facing role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Security Consultant). Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with attention to detail. Experience as a technical pre-sales engineer at a SaaS security vendor. Knowledge of the Application Security industry, products, and trends; experience in API security, API management, SIEM, DevOps/DevSecOps, or web application firewalls is preferred. Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences; experience presenting to CISOs, architects, and technical staff. Ability to learn quickly and work with new technologies in cloud/IT space. Motivated, driven, self-directed with grit; ability to communicate value to all management levels.
