We have a number of exciting opportunities for Project Controls Managers who enjoy making a difference in and on major infrastructure projects and programmes in London and the South East. Owing to the complex nature of the works involved, these roles will suit Project Controls Managers with proven backgrounds and experience in sectors such as rail, aviation, power, water/utilities, highways or defence.

Job Objectives
* Delivering Project Controls across infrastructure projects in London.
* Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting, and deploying controls team resources effectively.
* Establish effective control processes in compliance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and as directed by the Programme Controller, maintaining these at Territory / Project level.
Other Responsibilities
* Review new project proposals/remits and ensure realistic, resource plans are developed for delivery of the programme.
* Identify resourcing requirements to support the programme and liaise with planning functions to resolve issues.
* Provide efficient day-to-day service to the Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance.
* Monitor data input by project teams to cost and performance systems to ensure it meets required data standards.
* Manage the production of the Investment Plan in compliance with the Investment Competence Framework.
Qualifications
* Experience in planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control and analysis, in both field and home office environments.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications.
* Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office; knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start-up work processes.
* Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
