This Watford-based organization is looking for a hungry Business Sales Manager to join their growing team. The starting salary is between £40,000 and £45,000.
Day-to-Day Duties Include:
1. Build good working relationships
2. Understand the needs of your business customers
3. Research the market and related products
4. Present the product or service favorably and in a structured, professional way
5. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
6. Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
7. Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets
8. Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
9. Gather market and customer information
10. Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
11. Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process dictated by the customer
12. Negotiate on price, costs, delivery, and specifications with buyers and managers
13. Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
14. Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
15. Feed future buying trends back to employers
16. Review your sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets, attend team meetings, and share best practices with colleagues
