Payroll Specialist - Construction | On-Site | Full-Time
Vaco is partnering with a respected construction company seeking a Payroll Specialist with experience in Union and Certified Payroll. This role supports the Director of Payroll and ensures timely and compliant payroll processing for 300+ employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up new hires and process payroll, including Union and Certified Payrolls
* Union Payroll
* Handle time entry, reconciliation, layoffs, and missed timesheets
* Submit reports via LCP Tracker, eMars, and OCIP/CCIP portals
* Manage unemployment/disability claims and PTO tracking
* Respond to payroll-related inquiries and ensure accurate compliance reporting
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of in-house payroll experience
* Construction or related industry background
* Familiarity with prevailing wage, LCP Tracker, and high-volume payroll
* Strong organizational, Excel, and communication skills
