The Technical Application Support Engineer will support the delivery of our Enterprise Application service, ensuring our technologies remain fully supported and evolve in line with product roadmaps. Day-to-day, the role will perform proactive maintenance activities, mitigate operational risks, manage integrations, deliver level 3 technical incident resolution, and implement continuous improvements.
What you’ll do:
* Monitor integration and batch processes daily, remediating errors swiftly to mitigate business impact.
* Administer corporate applications including Oracle & MS SQL databases.
* Provide technical incident resolution for issues within Telent’s Corporate Application estate.
* Troubleshoot problems, identify causes, and recommend corrective measures.
* Run SQL queries and updates to support data changes.
* Identify technical inefficiencies and create solutions to remediate them.
* Participate actively in project implementations, including design review, system testing, and configuration.
* Conduct regular risk assessments with remediation plans to reduce overall technical risks.
* Create technical documentation to support the software development lifecycle and core ITIL processes.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a forward-thinking approach to support both current operations and future growth.
Key Requirements:
* Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, application platforms, and operating systems.
* Hands-on experience in technical application and integration support.
* Strong technical knowledge across all components of application technology.
* Experience with Software Delivery Lifecycle, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.
* Ability to review work for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficient in documentation and effective communication.
* Investigative and solution-finding skills.
* Customer-focused mindset to manage business requirements and resolve incidents promptly.
* Hands-on experience with enterprise technologies such as Microsoft Azure Integration, SQL databases, Power Platform, Oracle Integrations (OIC), and Snaplogic.
