Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure that all users receive the highest level of service.
Duties
* Provide desktop support for users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues across various operating systems including Microsoft Windows and macOS.
* Installing and configuring VOIP Phones
* Assist with the configuration and maintenance of computer networking components, including VPNs, firewalls, and LAN setups.
* Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner using tools such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
* Conduct analysis of technical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
* Maintain documentation of technical procedures and user guides to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
* Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure seamless operation of all systems and services.
Requirements
* Proven experience in IT support or a similar role with strong customer service skills.
* Proficiency in computer networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall configurations.
* Familiarity with desktop support tasks, software troubleshooting, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
* Experience with help desk software such as Jira or ServiceNow is advantageous.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with users at all levels of technical proficiency.
