An opportunity has arisen within the Cardiothoracic Department in the Division of Surgery, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and we are now seeking qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join this well‑established team on a permanent or secondment basis. No Cardiothoracic experience necessary as training will be provided. If successful candidate is internal to NHSG, secondment will be offered for 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Assess, treat and provide ongoing clinical care for patients in our Cardiothoracic ward, Surgical High Dependency Unit and Cardiac ICU.
* Manage major trauma patients and support the clinical management of these patients.
* Work a day/night rotational rota including weekends.
* Maintain and develop advanced practice skills, knowledge and competence and support others within the team.
Qualifications
* PgDip in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
* Experience working in an advanced practice role.
