Job Description
The Head of Programme role is to enable the full end to end delivery value stream of a group of car components, which encompasses design, delivery, cost, quality, continuous improvement and future strategic direction.
Main Duties:
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major group of car components, spanning multiple functions across the organisation, bridging the gap between strategic intent and practical delivery.
* Draw on previous technical / operational expertise to identify potential roadblocks and work with teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
* Act as the primary point of contact for delivery of a major group of car components across all functions, including the end customer.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Operations and Engineering Directors, and Senior leaders.
* Conduct periodic programme reviews and communicate progress updates.
* Own a product roadmap for a major group of car components, identifying pre-requisites or dependencies for delivery for future car programmes.
* Develop and optimise budgets, ensure effective cost management and resource allocation.
* Implement changes in line with ongoing transformation, with a specific focus on lead time reduction.
* Identify areas of process improvement, efficiency gains and cost cap optimisation within the delivery of the programme.

Qualifications and Experience Level:
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
* Proven track record of executing successful delivery programmes within relevant industry.
