🌟 We’re Hiring: Rural and Wildlife Crime Partnership Manager (Temporary Cover for Maternity Leave)
Are you a confident relationship‑builder with a passion for protecting rural and wildlife communities? We’re seeking a Rural and Wildlife Crime Partnership Manager to join our Local Policing Department at Nottinghamshire Police. In this key role, you’ll connect our organisation with partners, communities and national networks to drive forward our rural and wildlife crime agenda.
🚀 What you’ll do
* Chair and coordinate multi‑agency meetings, ensuring delivery of key strategies and actions.
* Research best practice and support improvements to partnership working across the force.
* Work with the Force Rural and Wildlife Crime Lead to develop processes and support delivery of the Rural Crime Plan.
* Engage with partners, rural communities and victims, attending events and promoting crime prevention.
* Design, coordinate and deliver training across the force relating to rural and wildlife crime.
* Support and co‑ordinate the Rural Officer Cohort, including tasking resources for regional operations.
* Lead the Off‑Road Bike Team portfolio, ensuring safe delivery, performance and risk management.
* Manage high‑value budgets, monitor spend and seek external funding opportunities.
* Produce timely reports covering partnerships, community engagement, problem solving and performance.
* Represent Nottinghamshire Police and the East Midlands on national rural and wildlife crime agendas.
* Line‑manage and support the development of the Rural Crime Prevention Officer.
* Experience working with community partnerships and agencies to solve shared problems.
* Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
* Confidence in coordinating and chairing meetings with partners and the public.
* Experience conducting health and safety risk assessments.
* Ability to manage small teams and drive performance.
* Competence in monitoring budgets and ensuring appropriate use of resources.
* Knowledge of rural and wildlife issues within a policing or partnership context.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritise effectively.
* Ability to plan, deliver business objectives and take an innovative approach within budget.
* Skilled in producing reports, documents and presentations, using IT packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Level 3 Health & Safety and Level 3 Training qualifications (or equivalent experience).
