GENERAL FUNCTION
The Associate Optometrist leads by delivering high-quality optometric care, collaborating with the store team, and driving key results. They ensure patients receive excellent care, meet performance indicators, and serve as brand ambassadors driven by passion and high standards.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Execute operational excellence and achieve results with the Store Manager and team.
2. Exceed results through KPI management and accountability.
3. Promote the brand as the leading optical provider in the community.
4. Collaborate effectively with organizational leaders and local market stakeholders.
5. Prioritize patient/customer needs and deliver outstanding service.
6. Strive to exceed all KPI expectations.
7. Provide excellent patient service by addressing visual needs, making eyewear recommendations, explaining procedures, and ensuring understanding.
8. Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
9. Build positive relationships with patients.
10. Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.
11. Maintain office systems and state licensure, fulfilling continuing education requirements.
12. Train and guide team members using company programs.
13. Provide timely, motivating, and constructive feedback to associates.
14. Foster a positive culture aligned with corporate values.
15. Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
16. Lead through participation and involvement.
17. Maintain a professional office appearance and a safe environment.
18. Lead by example.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Doctor of Optometry degree.
2. Commitment to quality patient care.
3. Knowledge of current optometric theory and technology.
4. Strong communication and listening skills.
5. Problem-solving abilities.
6. Organizational skills.
