What you'll be doing
As a Highway Maintenance Operative you will:
1. Provide winter maintenance operations including participating in a shift system and winter standby rota;
2. Be responsible for traffic management;
3. Participate in emergency response on a rostered basis;
4. Civil works e.g. Carriageway patching, drainage and fencing repairs;
5. Cyclic works e.g. Sign cleaning, gully cleaning and grass cutting.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities and experience are essential:
6. Class 1 or 2 LGV licence;
7. In receipt of Driver CPC qualification;
8. NHSS 12 AB Foreman/LTMO;
9. Knowledge and awareness of health & safety procedures and standards.
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
10. Winter maintenance experience;
11. NRSWA Qualification;
12. First Aid Qualification;
13. CPCS Telescopic Telehandler.
