Environmental Monitoring Technician, SOCOTEC, East Kilbride (covering Scotland and northern England)

As our company continues to grow, we’re expanding our teams and are now seeking a dedicated Environmental Field Technician to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a reliable, flexible and committed Environmental Monitoring Technician to join our Environmental Team. While you may be performing the same array of tests day to day, the projects you undertake and the locations you are working from will constantly change.
Deliver a wide variety of site-based monitoring tasks such as:
Water quality sampling
Legionella compliance inspections
Water tank disinfections
Environmental compliance sampling
Environmental water sampling
Assist with laboratory analysis as required
This role is an entry level position and full training will be provided. The role will involve significant travelling, driving and regular working away from home
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
The ability to work alone and as part of a team
Pass a Sentinel medical and a Network Rail Personal Track safety (PTS) certificate
