Role Title: Assistant Project Manager Role Purpose The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager and project team in delivering a project on time, within budget, safely and to the required quality standards. More specifically, the Assistant Project Manager will: Relieve the Project Manager by handling day-to-day coordination, allowing them to focus on strategic and client-facing tasks. Maintain project momentum by tracking schedules, actions and deliverables. Strengthen operational readiness by supporting offshore preparation (vessels, equipment and personnel logistics). Ensure communication flow between stakeholders (onshore teams, offshore teams, clients and subcontractors). Safeguard compliance with QHSE, financial and contractual requirements. Facilitate accurate reporting so the project team and clients have reliable and up-to-date information. Key Areas of Responsibility Project Coordination - Support planning, scheduling and execution of offshore cable lay and burial operations. Operational Support - Assist in vessel mobilisations, daily offshore operations and logistics. Reporting - Prepare daily progress reports, update project trackers and maintain documentation. Financial Assistance - Track project budgets, purchase orders, and assist with cost control.
