Job Title: General Labourer
Location: Addlestone, Surrey
Start Date: Thursday 30th October, 2025
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour PAYE inc holiday pay (£ £1.72)
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to assist on a construction project. The successful candidate will support site operations through the safe and efficient movement of materials, maintaining a clean and organised work area, and assisting trades as required. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities
* Move, load, and unload materials and equipment around the site
* Assist skilled tradespeople with general duties as directed
* Maintain site cleanliness and ensure access routes are clear and safe
* Use basic hand tools and follow instructions from site supervisors
* Help with setting up work areas and tidying up at the end of the shift
* Follow site safety procedures and adhere to Health & Safety standards at all times
* Report any hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately
Requirements
* Previous experience on a construction site preferred
* CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
* Good communication skills and the ability to follow instruction
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
