EastBerkshire Community Dietetic Service based inWindsorhas an opportunity to offer a permanentfull timeBand 6 role.
The post holder will be covering a varied community caseload, including a case load of home enteral nutrition,gastroclinicsas well as patientsrequiringnutritional support.Therearealsoopportunitiestodevelop experience and skills in paediatric dietetics, low-FODMAP dietsas well as coaching and mentoring junior staff.
We are a mobile working service and offer our patients the choice of face-to-face, virtual and phone appointmentsas well as home visits.To support this, we have excellent IT access and support staff home-working where appropriate.

We will support you to develop your ideas for research and audit and offer collaboration and training with our Research & Development and Clinical Effectiveness teams. We also engage in student training andfacilitateteaching opportunities.

We are looking for enthusiastic,skilledand committed dietitians to join this forward-thinking team.
• Working under the guidance of the Team Lead Dietitian, to provide dietetic care to a varied and diverse caseload of patients in the community and community inpatients.
• Providing specialist dietetic treatmentse.g. home enteral nutrition(HEN),low-FODMAP diets.
• Delivering a proportion of care using online platforms e.g. OneConsultation and MS Teams
• Visiting patients in their own home, where appropriate, to offer HEN and nutritional support advice.
• Coaching, delegating workto,and supporting Dietetic Assistant Practitioners (DAPs) and involvement in student training programme.
• Involvement in departmental research activityandquality improvement project work

The “must haves” for this role:
• An undergraduatedegreeor post-gradqualificationin Nutrition and Dietetics and registered with Health Care Professionals Council and full BDAmembrship
• Ability todemonstrategood experienceand knowledge in dietetics including home enteralnutrition,diabetesand nutrition support.
• Aptitude for coaching and supervising junior staff including Dietetic Assistant Practitioners.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work flexibly, travelling to multiple sites if required.
• Ability to work from home with access toWi-Fiusing equipment provided by BHFT
