They are expanding their team and are seeking a Design Engineer to assist the Senior Design Engineer.

Requirements
Essential
Third-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of previous work experience in an Engineering role
Excellent understanding & reading of technical drawings and specifications
Proficient with Solid Edge or Solid Works drawing software
Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interpret and communicate data accurately
Must be reliable, motivated and have an excellent work ethic
Ability to work as part of a team
Applicants must have valid permission to work in Ireland. This includes holding an appropriate employment visa, work permit, or Stamp that allows full-time employment

The Role
Design, develop or improve solutions for new and existing customers
Prepare drawings for plasma cutting and press brake operations
Check and update production documentation as required
Liaise with Senior Designer and Production on design improvements
Provide technical support to customers/distributors and suppliers
Support sales activities for key customers with technical calls and visits as and when required
