What will you do as a Governance Professional?
* Provide advice, support and guidance in relation to governance best practice
* Providing effective clerical and administrative support to school governing boards
* Implementing, monitor and review systems for the quality control of board documentation
* Work closely with the Board in relation to forward planning and compliance
* Attend governance meetings and provide accurate minutes
* Ability to build/maintain relationships with the Board, it’s chair and senior leaders
What do you need to be a Governance Professional?
* Experience as a senior administrator, including taking and producing accurate minutes
* Knowledge of school governance and compliance would be an advantage
* Excellent communication and people management skills
* Experience in using a range of ICT packages
* Able to travel to various locations throughout the West Midlands
* Ability to work flexible hours (including some evening work)
