An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate Business Relationship Manager to join the Linnaeus Group. The Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for working closely with their local referral centre to drive top line business growth and local referring vet engagement through relationship building. The primary objective of the BRM is to grow new and retain current referrals to the centre and to gain feedback from the veterinary practices on what services or opportunities could be improved in order for them to consider referring if they are not currently.

The role will be working closely with the hospital Senior Leadership Team to provide business relationship plans for the practice to align with the business objectives to drive top line growth. The role will work closely with the designated hospital leaders’ team (Finance Business Partner, Operations Manager, and HR Business Partner) to deliver the practice’s planned growth.

Working for one of the UK’s leading veterinary groups, we are looking to expand our team to support an ever changing and demanding set of business needs. We are looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm, strong organisation, and time management skills as who thrives as part of a team. This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week. Car cash allowance paid every month.


Responsibilities

* Grow new and retain current referrals to the centre.
* Gather feedback from veterinary practices on services or opportunities to improve referral likelihood.
* Develop business relationship plans aligned with practice objectives to drive top line growth.
* Collaborate with hospital leadership and cross-functional partners (Finance, Operations, HR) to deliver planned growth.
* Engage with local referral centres to support business development and vet engagement.


Qualifications & Experience

* Experience of building business support plans.
* Good stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
* Some knowledge of veterinary businesses and how they operate; field-based experience and experience in a referrals environment within healthcare are advantageous.
* Degree or professional qualifications.


Knowledge & Skills

* Knowledge of relationship management and understanding of service sectors.
* Veterinary industry knowledge is desirable; healthcare or service-provider knowledge is acceptable.
* Stakeholder management, influencing, teamwork, relationship management, collaboration, and the ability to shape and create.
* Time management and organisational skills; emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge; strong ability to interpret data and plan accordingly.
