Responsibilities
* Utilises CAD tools such as SolidWorks, to produce engineering information such as 3D models and assembly drawings.
* Provide technical information which supports procurement activities.
* Actively participate in project planning meetings, ensuring all targets are met and recovery plans achieved.
* Review data and documentation for customers, ensuring responses and reports are compiled accurately and timely.
* Contribute to the development of innovative products and processes.
* Ensure industry standards are maintained by keeping up to date on current regulations, practises, technology, and methodology.
* Use conceptual knowledge of engineering theories, principles, and practises to complete engineering activities.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Engineering.
* 1-2 years experience gained in a manufacturing environment preferred.
* Experience using CAD and SolidWorks essential.
* Experience generating bills of materials, routings, assembly instructions and manuals, desirable.
* Excellent IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications essential, SAP experience desired.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to initiate action to develop better ways of working, improving processes and practises.
* Must be customer focused, placing customer satisfaction high on list of priorities and having sound appreciation of current and future requirements of internal and external customers.
