Please note – this is not a main dealership role. It is a long-standing, independent operation with over 26 years trading history, a strong reputation in the commercial vehicle sector, and a large, established site. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with no weekend working. About the Company * 26 years established in the motor trade * 3-acre site with showroom and workshop facilities * Approximately 400 commercial vans on site * Workshop team of 5 technicians * Focused on maintaining current success and steady growth in stock and operations What's on Offer? * £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience) * Monday to Friday working pattern * 9:00am – 5:00pm hours * No weekend working * Stable, long-term employment within a growing independent business * Supportive workshop environment * Flexibility and openness around individual needs The Role You will be responsible for working on a wide range of light commercial vans, including: * Routine servicing and maintenance * Clutch and gearbox replacement * Timing belt replacement * Diagnostic fault finding and repair * General mechanical repair work across a busy van fleet About You * Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic / Technician (experience is essential) * Strong diagnostic and repair skills * Experience working on commercial vehicles advantageous * Ability to work independently within a small team * Full UK Driving Licence required * Reliable, hands-on and detail-focused approach This is a great opportunity for a skilled Mechanic who wants a work-life balance role, Monday to Friday only, within a long-established independent business rather than a main dealership environment.
