Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with a 15-minute break in the morning and a 30-minute break for lunch. Some overtime may be available during the summer months.

The estate office is located in Bugthorpe.
About The Role
The Building Department, which works alongside the Joinery Department and contractors, currently comprises of three multi-skilled trades people. A suitably experienced Multi-skilled Tradesperson is required to join the team. The position offers a varied workload within an attractive working environment, with common tasks being property maintenance, refurbishments and renovation work within the Estates.
Responsibilities
* Perform property maintenance, refurbishments and renovation work within the estates.
* Execute tasks across a broad range of building trades: brickwork, plastering, roofing, groundworks and plumbing.
* Operate a wide range of power tools.
* Use plant machinery (desirable).
* Work independently, solving problems and maintaining high quality standards.
* Contribute to estate upkeep and overall building projects.
About You
The successful applicant will ideally have NVQ qualifications in a primary trade while being capable in secondary trades to fulfill the following criteria:
* Experienced and competent in a broad range of building skills including brickwork, plastering, roofing, groundworks and plumbing.
* Competent using a wide range of power tools.
* Ability to work with plant machinery (desirable).
* Self‑motivated and capable of producing high quality work on a consistent basis.
* Capacity to work on own initiative and solve problems.
* Previous experience of estate work/property maintenance would be an advantage.
Remuneration & Holiday Entitlement
Salary will be dependent on skills and experience.
Successful applicant will be entitled to join company pension scheme with 6% employer contribution.
Holiday Entitlement: 30 Working Days including public holidays, rising by an extra day for every full year of service up to a maximum of 33 days including public holidays.
