A well-established logistics business in Hull is looking to appoint a Logistics Coordinator to join its busy operations team.

This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a structured, deadline-led environment and is confident managing moving parts across transport, documentation and operational support. The hours follow a rotating pattern, so flexibility around working times is important.

The opportunity

This role centres around keeping freight movements on track from start to finish, making sure everything is lined up correctly for smooth onward movement. You will be involved in organising load activity, maintaining accurate system records, coordinating with internal departments and helping avoid disruption, delay or unnecessary spend.

Attention to detail is key, particularly where timings, system updates and operational paperwork are concerned.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight activity to ensure movements are arranged in line with customer and operational requirements
• Keep internal systems updated with accurate movement information and shipment status details
