This well-established construction business is seeking a Credit Control / Sales Ledger Assistant to join their friendly Finance team.

Enjoy maintaining order in the numbers, building relationships with clients, and keeping cashflow running smoothly.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the sales ledger, ensuring invoices and credit notes are processed accurately and payments are received on time.
* Monitor outstanding debt and chase overdue accounts professionally.
* Work closely with clients and colleagues to resolve queries.
* Support month‑end and year‑end reporting, and assist with general finance tasks as required.
Qualifications
* Previous accounts experience in accounts receivable, credit control or sales ledger (ideally within construction, manufacturing or similar sectors).
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
* Entry-level seniority, full-time employment.
