Role Purpose
To lead and motivate a small team of warehouse staff, monitor performance and stock levels whilst ensuring duties are carried out in line with company policies and procedures.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4.15pm in Welwyn Garden City AL7 1EL
Key Responsibilities
* Supervision of staff working in the workshop and warehouse
* Health & Safety lead for day to day workshop and warehouse activity
* Set and monitor targets
* 3rd party storage transfers
* Stock counting, inputting, ordering and admin
* Oversee terminal repairs, refurbishment and breakdowns.
* Support change and new initiatives
* Identify areas for improvement
* Provide support for the Retail Distribution Manager where/when required
Essential Requirements for the Role
* Warehouse and Logistics management experience
* Effective people management
* Stock and database management experience
* Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and database management skills
* Ability to manage production activity and set targets
* Good communication and organisational skills
