We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Assembly Engineers to work for a busy manufacturing company in Mirfield, WF14.
This is a permanent vacancy, and an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company at their new, modern, purpose-built facility with the opportunity for career progression.
Responsibilities
* Mechanical assembly of equipment at the new modern factory independently and with team, depending on the type of equipment.
* Testing of equipment during and at the end of assembly.
* Set up and commissioning of equipment at factory.
* Understanding of pneumatic setup and operation.
* Site works are available for those who would like to travel for site works, but not a primary function of this role.
* Electrical training is available to further develop electrical and diagnostic skills.
* Other tasks as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience within an equipment manufacturing environment.
* Full UK Driving Licence (preferable).
* Good communication skills—verbal and written.
* Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
* Good time management.
* Willingness to learn and develop self.
* Good teamwork.
Hours
* Monday to Thursday, 7.30am until 4pm.
* Friday, 7.30am until 2.45pm.
* Overtime is offered when available.
Salary
* £25,000.00–£35,000.00 per year depending on level of experience.
