Join BT as a Power Engineer
Location: Bournemouth, Exeter, Southampton or Plymouth. This role is onsite, 5 days per week, 37.5 hours.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful.
Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

Job role & responsibilities
* Accountable: Establish technical objectives and delegate responsibilities.

Essential skills
* Knowledge of Transmission Network and management platforms.
* Network installation, integration and testing.
* Ability to manage and coordinate multiple concurrent projects, perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work with stakeholders to capture requirements.
* Good relationship management skills.
Experience we’d like to see on your CV
* Installation in compliance with the UK Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and associated regulations.
* Upgrade and decommission of Mechanical & Electrical equipment.
* Ongoing maintenance and repair of Mechanical & Electrical equipment installed on GSE sites, including reactive repair and PPM compliance.
* Identification and repair of faults during planned maintenance.
