Healthcare support worker

We are looking for a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team on the Respiratory ward at Princess of Wales Hospital, ward 10. The applicant will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills along with the ability to use their own initiative. Flexibility regarding shift patterns is essential. Experience working with the elderly who may have complex physical and cognitive needs is desirable; training will be provided for the successful applicant.
Main duties of the job
The individual will work under the direction of the registered nurse, ensuring that high standards of care are provided and maintained at all times.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh desirable. While the candidate does not need to have formal Welsh qualifications, speaking & listening skills at Level 3 (CEFR B2) or above will be an advantage when short‑listing and selecting candidates. Level 3 reflects basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
