Role: Business Development Manager (Geotechnical Testing)
Salary: 40K-55K DOE + Bonus + Car Allowance/Company Car
Location: Largely remote but UK travel required

Due to continued growth, I am excited to present an opportunity to join my client, a leading environmental company who are on the lookout for a Business Development Manager. This is a niche role and as such a knowledge of Geotechnical and/or materials testing is essential for successful candidacy for this role.
Key duties:
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the geotechnical sector through market research, networking, and prospecting.
* Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored client solutions
* Manage and grow existing accounts across environmental and site services divisions
* Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
* Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership
Essential:
* Strong technical knowledge of the geotechnical and/or Construction Materials testing Market services – ideally within a sales or business development-based role.
* Strong relationship-building and account management skills
* Ability to translate technical expertise into commercial success
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
* Full UK Driving License
