E‑commerce Manager (Operations‑Focused)
We're partnering with an established, family‑run business to recruit an E‑commerce Manager to take ownership of their day‑to‑day online operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in E‑commerce, online retail, fulfilment or operations who is looking to step into a broader, more responsible role within a stable and supportive business environment. The company has a growing online channel and is keen to bring in someone who can help strengthen and improve operational processes as volumes increase.
The Role
Reporting closely into the Directors and working alongside the Warehouse team, the E‑commerce Manager will oversee the operational flow of online orders, with a strong focus on fulfilment, stock accuracy and delivery.
It's a hands‑on role with visibility across the business and clear scope for progression as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing online orders from placement through to dispatch
* Overseeing fulfilment and distribution in collaboration with the Warehouse team
* Maintaining accurate online stock availability and allocations
* Liaising with courier partners and resolving delivery issues
* Handling customer queries related to online orders
* Identifying and implementing operational and process improvements
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in E‑commerce, online retail, fulfilment, stock or operations
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable working cross‑functionally in a small business environment
* Confident using Excel and order or stock management systems
* Looking for progression, ownership and long‑term development
