Design Allocator Position: Experienced Experience: Minimum 3 years in Passive Fire Protection Qualifications: ASFP Level 2 (IFE Certified), IFC Manager Level Role Overview: The Solution Allocator is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and documenting standard passive fire protection solution allocations while ensuring full compliance with ASFP and manufacturer guidelines. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct the Stage 1 Peer Review of passive fire protection allocations, ensuring compliance with PFPF, ASFP and manufactures requirements. * Review, validate, and approve all standard passive fire protection allocations from Trainee Solution Allocators. * Ensure technical accuracy of allocated solutions in compliance with ASFP guidance, manufacturer specifications, and project fire strategies. * Collaborate with manufacturers to confirm the validity of assigned solutions and approve minor modifications to standard details where required. * Maintain accurate documentation of design allocations and compliance records in the Design Tracker. * Escalate non-standard cases requiring an Engineering Judgement (EJ) or Technical Assessment (TA) to the Senior Solution Developer. * Undertake annual manufacturer training to remain at the forefront of passive fire protection technology. * Undertake BIM and CAD familiarisation training for enhanced model-based solution allocation
