Hours: 40 hours per week. Various shifts between 8am - 10pm, including 8am - 1pm, 10am - 5pm & 1pm - 10pm. Weekend work is included, Bannister Farm is located in Leyland, in Lancashire. Our home offers residential support to five autistic adults, who may also have a learning disability.

Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you'll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work. As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you'll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care
* Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes
* Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals
* Assistance and support to attend medical appointments
* Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
* Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams
* Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth
What you'll bring to the role:

The candidate must be a driver, as they will use Priory vehicles to support residents in the community. Full UK driving license - minimum of 3 years - manual/automatic,
