About the Role:
Provide a professionally managed Facility Management service at Rochdale Councils main offices at Number One Riverside ensuring high standards and building presentation.
Oversee the building team, security and cleaning teams driving continuous improvement and culture of excellence.
Provide a customer driven approach to all council employees, external clients and members of the public.
Manage the day-to-day operation ensuring efficient and safe operation of the building including statutory inspections, health and safety checks & Planned preventative maintenance.
Oversee the operations of the dedicated Training and conference facilities.

About You:
* Experience of working in a Facilities management or Operational role
* Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and systems.
* Understanding of Planned preventive Maintenance and statutory inspections.
* You will be motivated and forward thinking, who can demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm
* You will be a team player with experience of leading, coaching and motivating staff.
* You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate with a wide range of stake holders
* You will have excellent ICT skills and be able to use a range of packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
