Bookkeeper and Office Manager, Harrogate,£30-£35,000
A well-established small business based in central Harrogate is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper and Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial management and office administration of the practice.
This is a long-standing role becoming available due to the relocation of the current post holder. A full handover will be provided to ensure a smooth transition. The position is finance-led (80%+), with responsibility for supporting the efficient running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Bookkeeping
* Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and financial ledgers
* Prepare budgets and monitor expenditure against forecasts
* Raise invoices, process payments, manage client accounts and credit control
* Prepare year-end financial information for external accountants
* Liaise with accountants and respond to financial queries
Office Administration & Management
1. Manage the day-to-day running of the office, including answering telephone enquiries
2. Maintain organised digital and paper filing systems
3. Manage diaries, appointments, and meeting arrangements
