FINTEC recruit is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for our international manufacturing client based in the Glasgow region. This is a permanent role with salary up to £55,000 depending on experience, plus benefits. This role would suit a graduate with some experience looking for career progression.
Responsibilities:
* Provide design solutions for lifecycle of projects
* Create engineering documentation eg specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures and reports
* Check electrical drawings, adhere to standards and regulations
Skills and Experience require for the Electrical Design Engineer role:
* Experience in electrical and electronics design
* Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
* Generate design calculations
* Using design software tools such as CAD packages
* Product design experience an advantage, particularly with DC systems
* Experience with product lifecycle management system for engineering packages
