Humber Health Partnership is seeking to strengthen leadership to drive improvement in its five hospitals. The Trust wishes to appoint two Hospital Site Managing Directors, one for each site. These posts will report to the Group Chief Delivery Officer but will be part of the Trust’s senior leadership team.

The roles will have responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the hospitals, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality care for patients and the communities we serve. Successful applicants will currently be working at Board level in a large acute provider or at regional or national level.

Interviews week commencing: 30th March 2026.

Main duties of the job

The Hospital Site Managing Director will lead and manage the respective hospital, responsible for patient safety, clinical and operational performance, financial management and workforce. The position will play a key role in implementing the organisation’s improvement plan, harnessing the skills and expertise of clinical staff to drive it forward and ensuring patient safety and care are at the heart of all services delivered.

Through excellent leadership, the Hospital Site Managing Directors will enable the delivery of high‑quality care in line with the organisation’s values and behaviours, providing the safest patient experience and best possible outcomes within available resources. They will work closely with primary care colleagues, local councils, and foster continuous improvement, learning, service innovation and transformation in collaboration with clinical teams.
