What You'll Be Doing
As a Sprinkler Design/Project Engineer in our Repairs Division, you’ll oversee the delivery of smaller‑scale sprinkler system projects, including:
* Managing minor installations, system modifications, and remedial works.
* Reviewing and producing technical drawings and specifications.
* Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Attending site visits, client meetings, and handovers.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Preparing risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH documentation.
* Supporting junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
* 3+ years’ experience in fire sprinklers.
* Familiarity with BSEN 12845, BS9251, NFPA, or FM Global standards.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and hydraulic calculation software (e.g., FHC).
* Revit experience is a bonus but not essential.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive, customer‑focused approach.
* Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously.
