Development ChefLocation: National, E14 9SHHours of work: 40Contract Type: PermanentThe Development Chef will be responsible for continuously enhancing the food offer within ISS Food Services, driving innovation and ensuring our culinary concepts remain relevant to business needs.Job DescriptionThis role will play a key part in the mobilisation of new contracts, crafting and refining food concepts that align with our growth strategy.In addition to menu development, the Development Chef will provide craft training, inspiring and upskilling teams to maintain excellence in food service delivery.By staying ahead of industry trends and customer expectations, this role will help shape the future of ISS Food Services, ensuring we deliver high-quality, creative, and commercially successful food experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand, develop and implement current food trends and ideas into the businessIdentify areas of craft development, and implement any training requiredDevelop a culture of sharing best practice and elevating the food standards of ISS Food ServicesEnsure that nominated suppliers are being used to provide the relevant suppliesEnsure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures in relation to food safety, operations management, recruitmentEvaluate proposed and required changes to services identifying financial, personnel and operational performance implications prior to confirmation and implementation of service changesProfessional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsSenior chef experienceDrives results with the ability to coach and mentor chefs and their skills, supporting development of capability levels and succession planning7061/7062 or equivalent qualifications in food preparation and productionMinimum of Level 3 food hygiene or equivalentPassion for food and serviceStrong communication skillsCommercial understanding supported by proven track recordExperience in the involvement of tendering for new businessThe CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
