A Personal Assistant will provide support to Cabinet Members and Lead Members of Lancashire County Council. The role is to work within the department and make sure the procedures and services are completed to an agreed quality standard or specification. A Personal Assistant may deal with issues that will need to be able to use a high level of initiative to recommend the best course of action. Communication skills are important as you will be expected to interact with internal and external 'customers' regularly as well as stakeholders from a wide range of organisations at the highest level.
Work using own initiative, forward planning and manage the needs of Cabinet Members and Lead Members of the County Council. To provide support to the wider work of the County Council's decision-making processes within the Democratic Services Team. Working to the Elected Member Senior Personal Assistant the role of a Personal Assistant to Cabinet Members requires the post holder to work within departmental procedures and ensure service provision is delivered to an agreed quality standard or specification.
