GSL Education are delighted to recruit a Computer Science Teacher to work with schools in the Sheffield (S35) area, delivering engaging lessons that develop coding, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills. In this role, the Computer Science (CS) Teacher will plan and deliver structured lessons that encourage logical thinking, creativity, and a strong understanding of digital systems within a supportive classroom environment. Core Role Expectations: Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the computer science curriculum. Support pupils in developing coding, programming, and analytical skills. Maintain positive behaviour and an effective learning atmosphere. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as Computer Science Teacher. Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school objectives. What We’re Looking For: Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching computer science in a secondary school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
