Our client is a rapidly growing specialist contractor delivering faade remediation, cladding replacement, external wall system (EWS) projects, refurbishment and regeneration schemes across London and the South East. Working with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Developers and Private Clients, the business provides full turnkey solutions from design through to project completion.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.The RoleReporting to the Commercial Director, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple faade and cladding remediation projects, ensuring commercial performance is maximised whilst maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesFull commercial management of faade, cladding and external wall system projectsProcurement and management of specialist subcontractors and suppliersPreparation and submission of valuations, variations and final accountsCost reporting and forecastingContract administration under JCT forms of contractManaging project cash flow and commercial riskSupporting operational teams to deliver projects safely, profitably and on programmeClient liaison and attendance at commercial meetingsRequirementsProven Quantity Surveying experience within faades, cladding, remediation, roofing, external envelopes or specialist subcontracting sectorsStrong understanding of external wall systems, rainscreen cladding, EWS remediation or faade packagesExperience managing projects from pre-construction through to final accountExcellent commercial awareness and negotiation skillsThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor that has established a strong reputation within the faade remediation and building safety sector.
