Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and engaging Sales Trainer to join our team in a field-based role supporting our network of in-class security trainers across the UK. This role focuses on empowering trainers with the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to effectively promote and sell our portfolio of career-enhancing courses. By delivering impactful, on-the-ground training and ongoing support, you’ll play a key part in helping trainers maximise their impact and improve outcomes for their students.

Key Responsibilities

As the Sales Trainer, you will:

1. Lead in-person sales training sessions with in-class security trainers across various UK locations.
2. Contribute to the development and delivery of training materials, workshops, and role-playing exercises tailored to trainer needs.
3. Provide coaching and ongoing support to help trainers build confidence and strengthen their ability to promote additional courses.
4. Monitor performance, offer constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements to encourage continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align training content with broader company goals and sales strategies.
6. Stay informed on industry trends, evolving sales techniques, and competitor offerings to support ongoing enhancement of training programs.
7. Collect and incorporate feedback from trainers to refine and optimise the sales training approach.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential:

1. Experience in sales training, field sales, or a related role.
2. Strong sales background with a proven ability to meet and exceed performance targets.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for motivating and engaging others.
4. Ability to design and deliver compelling, interactive training sessions.
5. Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
6. Openness to frequent travel across various locations in the UK.

Desirable:

1. Familiarity with the security industry.
